The hardest part of starting a new blog is choosing the colour scheme and theme. I’m not convinced, so bear with me if it changes. The second hardest part is deciding the name of the new blog. The easiest part was deciding what to write about. I knew I wanted to write about days in my life, sometimes trivial, sometimes momentous, past, present and future.
What a fascinating idea, that each day is a separate life! Challenging, too. It makes the morning rather daunting, but certainly full of potential. It makes the night rather like standing before the Throne of Judgment: “What did you do with your life, Craig? Did you waste yet another life? How could you!
Then again, one small act of kindness could invest that day’s life with tremendous meaning.
I like it.
One blogger I read changes the color and theme monthly. Another does so rather frequently, on a whim. It gets to be a little disconcerting from time to time, but then again, that’s life. Rather appropriate.
Yeah, OK, I forgot a closing quotation mark. I need to proofread better.
You got it (the hardest parts about setting up a new blog being colors, themes, and names)! The first time I changed the color and theme at my 32×365, I got comments from people who couldn’t handle the change…
Glad you’re continuing.
I like it too (the theme, the title, the colour scheme), and I like Craig’s comment about standing before the Throne of Judgment at the end of each day.
Plus this way we get more lives than cats.
I love the idea of each day as a separate life (well, mostly I do). And mostly I love the idea of getting to read you again and again! Best wishes in the new endeavor!
Hey, how did you get it to say “People who are part of my day” instead of “Blogroll”? Did you have to set it up somehow differently? I wanted to do a different header but couldn’t figure out how to. (I am incredibly ignorant when it comes to these things.)
Thanks for the warm reception.
Craig you have me worried now about the Throne of Judgement. (And this introduced yet another variation in English/NZ and US spellings )
IB: Go into your Dashboard, and click on Links down the left hand side. Then Link Categories. Then you should be able to rename Blogroll.
Can anyone tell me how I can get that horrible automatically generated possibly related posts thing off?
Never mind. I figured it out.
As long as you’re around I’m happy.
I am a bit perturbed at the icon or whatever it’s called that is associated with my comments. Will I be stuck with this one forever?
nope. I’ll see if I can change them. Get you something cuter.
This one any better?
Definitely. But I also see from my second comment that it changes every time.
Actually, no that second one I put as a joke. Supposedly. I’ll change again, just back to the basic patterns.
Oh, I kind of liked the odd little characters. Just not the one I got!
