When I started this blog, I threatened to change my header regularly. Then I kept using the same one – the view from the top of our drive in mid-summer (I know it was mid-summer because the agapanthas are in full bloom) – for the next few years. Then this year I changed it. It snowed, and that was such a momentous event, I had to include that in the header. Besides, it was still a photo of my house, or from my house, right? The snow melted, and suddenly I couldn’t find my view from the drive. WordPress seemed to have deleted it, and I can’t find my agapantha-filled drive. So I reverted to some photos of red roses, from my mother’s garden. Not quite home, but close enough. But then I flew. And so balloons seemed to need to be on my header. They’ve stayed there as I’ve written the occasional post about my holiday.
But now it’s December, and my holiday is over, summer is here, and I need a new look. I can’t decide. So I’m going to change regularly. And I implore you to tell me which photos are your favourites. And I might even take notice of you. Or I’ll continue being indecisive, and you’ll never quite know what will pop up when you visit my page.
Love the fern(s), M. Of course, I’ve never seen a photo you’ve taken that I haven’t loved!

I hope you continue being indecisive…

I have to admit, at first glance I thought the curling fern in the foreground was a snake. :p (!) I do like the vivid colours! : )

I love the ferns too, Mali. I’ll let you know when I see a photo I especially like and maybe you’ll use it for your header.
Check in the Library in the Media part of your dashboard (it is in the sidebar on the left) for your older headers. You won’t be able to click a button to automagically use them as headers, but you should be able to download them and upload them again via the header dashboard page.
Misty look (your theme) allows for random images to be shown as well. You can upload a bunch (via the header dashboard page) and they should show up below the image with radio buttons in front of them. Just above that is another radio button that says “Random: Show a different image on each page.” Otherwise you can just choose one of the images for your header.

Dona, thanks. I did find the older headers, but confess I haven’t quite figured out how to download them. I haven’t spent a lot of time on it though! Yes, I’ve been thinking about the random images idea. And might put that in place for the rest of the month.
