In case you haven’t guessed, last month I participated in the NaBloPoMo blogging project, and every day I blogged on a set topic, and posted a photograph. I could have just presented my photographs, with no words to explain it, but I find that pictures need words, and words can be enhanced by pictures, so there were always words to be written. It was exhausting, but it was great fun too.
Here I am now, though, a little sad it’s over – I don’t get to show off my photos any more – but relieved too. There is after all, a world beyond blogging, and things to do, and jury service (sigh) to be served. I’ll be back soon, when I’ve thought of something else to say. But for today, I’m just going to urge you to read something I posted in the last month – after all, only my most dedicated readers and commenters (and maybe not even them) will have read all 31 of my May posts – or simply look at some of my pictures.
Congrats on making it through! I saw your Best and was super impressed!

I saw them all. I didn’t comment when I was on a mobile device, but I read and saw them all. It’s a huge accomplishment, doing NaBloPoMo.

Yay, you!! 🙂 I agree with Mel, that’s quite an accomplishment! I did a month-long post-a-day thing about five years ago… we went on vacation for a week in the middle of it & I had plans to set up some posts to publish in my absence, but it never got done. I did eventually do all 30 posts, but it took me about a month and a half to finish it all. Still, I’m glad I tried. But you’ll notice I haven’t been in a hurry to repeat the experience, lol. 😉 Even though I have more time to do something like that now.
P.S. Jury duty — ugh. I actually got a notice that my name is in the pool for this year. Crossing my fingers & knocking wood that I don’t get called. Completely aside from my ambivalence about judging other people, the courthouse is a half-hour away, and I don’t drive (at least, not that far). :p

Jury duty… that should give you lots to write about. I would actually love to serve on a jury. I’ve only been called once though, and all that happened is we waited around for 4 hours and then were told the trial wasn’t going to go ahead. So actually jury duty may not give you all that much to write about.
I am impressed you did a whole month of daily posts; you’re a blogging superhero. You deserve LOTS of champagne.

PS. I’ve been called for jury service only once before, and like you just sat around and then wasn’t selected to continue. I’m taking my iPad with my book on it!
