- Knowing that the major bookings for our trip later in the year have now been made, and feeling the resultant reduction in stress.
- AND I found a rain jacket (necessary for the above-mentioned trip), with a removable fleece lining, on sale in the weekend, in a shop we just happened to walk past.
- My new passport arrived in record time, so I had no time to feel trapped down here at the ends of the earth.
- There’s some homemade fresh strawberry ice-cream in the freezer, and some fresh berries in the fridge, ready to go with it.
- Thinking about playing around with my camera (even though attempts last night to photograph the moon were disastrous).
- I’ve been able to write and bank (for future) some blog posts.
- I’m finally trying a recipe I’ve drooled over since first seeing it on The Great British Bake-off, and I have hopes it will be yummy (and yes, I will report on it if it is any good).
- Summer made a flying visit today (even though it seems to have gone back into hiding, where it has been all season, this evening).

Those are such great things! I always feel so much better when I get things booked/lined up (and posts scheduled)! Have you mentioned where you’re going yet?
Also, the moon is really hard to photograph.

Glad t know that your travel plans are working out. 🙂 Good for you for lining up posts for the future. I am way, way behind in that these days. Have to get a hold on my time management skills. 🙂

Those are eight really wonderful things. And I think I have about a bazillion terrible moon shots for every one decent one – don’t give up!

I love a list of happinesses. Oooh, I can only imagine where you’re going next! I have never been able to photograph the moon, although I don’t have a fancy camera…Bryce keeps trying and it just never comes out the way you see it. I love that you’re summer when we’re winter…the thought of fresh berries made my mouth water!

Oooh, way to tease us about your future trip!! 😉
I don’t know what it is about the moon, but it always looks smaller & less spectacular in the photos that I try to take of it than it does in the sky. 😉
