- Yoga with Adriene is making me more flexible and stronger, though perhaps some of that is due to …
- My new programme at the gym, and how strong it makes me feel.
- I’ve adapted to coffee without sugar easily, and I never thought I would be able to say that.
- My reading mojo has recently returned, and I’ve read (and I’m reading) some great books.
- My homemade Super Deluxe Chocolate Ice Cream is rich and delicious, though with summer coming to a close, my hips and heart need my personal gelateria to shut up shop soon.
- My screen saver thrills me when I return to my desk, returning me (briefly) to some of my favourite places in the world.
- I’m currently binge-watching Suits, a TV series I’d never heard of until it was recommended by my friend Peony, and having a wonderful time doing it.
- This long summer has seen some bumper crops of tomatoes – one of my favourite foods – and I’m reaping the benefits from my very elderly in-laws’ garden.

I’m thankful that I don’t have my own ice cream maker….it would be dangerous for my derriere! One of the things I’m most looking forward to about buying a house is planting my own garden. Nothing crazy, just a few tomato plants, lettuce, etc. I’ve never managed to keep plants alive so it should be a learning experience.
I’ve taken my coffee black and strong for probably 15 years. I can’t even handle the taste of black coffee with sugar anymore and only occasionally get a latte because I can’t really stomach it anymore.

Love that you are in the midst of a Suits midge. So good.

I’ll pick up on the ice cream making where you leave off since summer is coming on our end 🙂
Congratulations on dropping the sugar in coffee.

What a great list! Have you ever tried making tomato ice cream? I’ve heard it can be good, but haven’t ever tried it.

I only watched part of season 1 of “Suits,” but I thought it was a good show. Enjoy your binge.

Dh wanted me to get rid of my Donvier (crank-handle) ice cream maker — I said NO WAY. I am looking forward to making ice cream for my future great-nieces & nephews. 😉
I’ve never watched Suits, but I understand it’s a Canadian show? Made in Toronto, at any rate. 😉
And not that I need any more books to read 😉 but I would love to know what you are reading right now. 🙂

Ooh, I don’t even really like ice cream, but would be willing to suspend judgment and sample your super deluxe chocolate stuff…
